Thelma Marie Winters was born July 20, 1955 in Chicago, IL to the late union of Moses and Annie Sue Steele. She is preceded in death by three brothers - Eugene, David & Moses, Jr.; Two sisters - JoAnn & Wilma; One son - Jamie; Grandmother - Rosie Lee; Three special aunts - Zelma, Louise and Catherine.

Thelma was baptized at an early age. She attended Mt. Eagle Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL. She attended Bradwell Grade School and South Shore High School. Thelma relocated to Kosciusko, MS to take care of her grandmother and son, Jamie. Thelma loved her family and friends. She as a CNA and Soul Food Chef. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband - Charles Winters; one son - Brian (Tasha); Grand-daughter - Jamieria; Four brothers - Leon (Carolyn), William (Tina), Kenneth, Phillip (Gwen); one sister-in-law - Sharon Steele, all from Chicago, IL; A special person - Norma Jean Collins; Two Godsons, and a host of great nieces & nephews, cousins and friends.
