Robert Linwood Streater went to be with his Heavenly Father in eternal rest on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Wadesboro Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Facility, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Born June 3, 1950, he was the son of Rev. Junior and Helen Streater.

Robert attended J.R. Faison High School. He worked for Brink and Duke Power Energy for several years.

He confessed Christ at an early age. He loved dogs and especially his latest “Blue” who he nursed back to good health.

He was preceded in death by his late wife, Albertha Liles Streater, his father, Rev. Junior Streater, his mother, Helen Streater, his sister, Helen Rhone and baby, Anthony Streater.

Those left to cherish his memories are his two daughters, CheRika Rivers, Charlotte, North Carolina and Kassondra Smith, Charlotte, North Carolina; two sons, Terrance Smith, Boone, North Carolina and Rodriquez McClure, Charlotte, North Carolina; three sisters, Shirley Streater, Wadesboro, North Carolina, Virginia Little, Charlotte, North Carolina and Lesie Ann McNeil (Henry), Lilesville, North Carolina; three brothers, James Streater, Wadesboro, North Carolina, Sidney Streater (Queen), Charlotte, North Carolina and John Streater, Charlotte, North Carolina. He leaves a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He leaves special love and thanks to Irene Harrington (Prayer Partner), Melanie Little (Cousin and Driver to appointments), Ralph Little (All Around Friend) and Rosa Rivers Clark (Special Friend).

The Homegoing Services will be on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, 12:00 noon, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be at Westview Memorial Park, Highway 74-West, Wadesboro, North Carolina.

The Streater Family will greet family and friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 11:30am-12:00 noon.

There will be no public viewing. The Streater Family thanks each of your for your prayers.
