Funeral service for Willie Jones, 58, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801, Reverend Tyrone Edwards will officiate.

Mr. Jones, who passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at his home in Opelika, Alabama, was born January 18, 1965, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two children, Jessica Jones and Robyn Jones both of Mobile, AL; three brothers, Calvin (Tracy) Jones of Auburn, AL, Alexander (Tanita) Jones of Opelika, AL and Michael Childs of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Michelle Childs of Dadeville, AL and Phyllis Allen of Texas; devoted companion, Vivian Gullatte of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
