Mrs. Juanita Woodard Baker

Mother Juanita Woodard Bake wa born December 16, 1950 to the late Mrs. Katie Trice Woodard and the late Mr. Albert Woodard, Sr. in Thomaston, Upson County, GA. She received her education in he public school of Upson County and graduated from Drake High School.

During her womanhood, she met and married Mr. Bobby Baker on September 23, 1971. To this union, two daughters were born. She was a loving and faithful wife, mother and grandmother. She was employed by Thomaston Mills for over 27 years and later by Quad Graphics for 8 years. She was a faithful and dedicated employee.

She was presently a member of New Hope Holiness Church where she served on the Mother's Ministry. She was a faithful member not only to her church but to her Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived an example before her children and her entire family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Antoin Woodard, Willie Woodard and Bennie Floyd Woodard; four sisters, Annie Kate Woodard, Roberta Alsobrooks, Susie Mae Woodard and Emma Lou Woodard. On Saturday, December 9, 2023, the Lord called her name. She answered the call and went home to eternal rest. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her devoted husband, Mr. Bobby Baker of Yatesville, GA; two children, Ms. Crystal Baker and Ms. Christy Baker both of Thomaston, GA; five grandchildren, Creon Baker, Mikia Wilkins, Ian Baker, Earion Brazer and Elon Brazer, ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Mr. Albert (Betty) Woodard of Thomaston, GA; sisters and brother-in-law include, Mother Loretta Slate of Luthersville,GA, Mrs. Kay Frances (Bobby) Searcy, Mrs. Brenda Harvey, Mrs. Sally Holt, Mrs. Christina Chaney, Mr. Henry Baker and Mr. Terry Risper all of Thomaston, GA, Mr. Michael Baker of Lithonia, GA, Ms. Shirley Baker of Puerto Rico; several other sister and brothers-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relative and friends.
