CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Greater Love Family Worship Center in Crowley, LA for Mr. Horace Dugas, Sr., 70, who entered eternal rest on Friday, December 8, 2023 in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in South Crowley Cemetery.

Pastor Charles Banks will be officiating the funeral service. Mr. Dugas was a member of Greater Love Family Worship Center where he served as a Deacon.

Mr. Dugas’ memories are being cherished by: his wife, Mrs. Redell Dugas of Crowley, LA; two sons, Horace Dugas, Jr. of Lafayette, LA and Nicholas Dugas of Baton Rouge, LA; four daughters, Oradell Dugas of Dallas, TX, April Dugas of Crowley, LA, Kathleen Dugas of Lafayette, LA and Christian Yancy (Torey) of Shreveport, LA; one brother, W.C. Al (Leecy) Houston of Crowley, LA; four sisters, Mary Alexander (Carlton) of Crowley, LA, Andrea Carmouche (Ronald) of Rayne, LA, Emily Farmer (John) of Atlanta, GA and Naomi Washington (Alfred) of Baldwin, LA; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Dugas is preceded in death by: his parents, Norbert and Lizzie Reed; his son, Dexter Guillory; four brothers, Norbert Reed, Jr., Deacon Lucius Dugar, Bishop Louis Dugar and Jerry Dugar; and five sisters, Doris Dugar, Ella Marie Anderson, Barbara Gene Reed, Louise Dasin and Ezora Bowie.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Greater Love Family Worship Center.
