Funeral service for Larrius Summers, 37, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 432 Maple Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Reverend John Clark, Pastor and Reverend Roger Jones, Eulogist.

Mr. Summers, who passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 in Bullock County, Alabama, was born June 26, 1986, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Wednesday, December 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Summers will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Elaine (Grayling) Frazier of Opelika, AL and Larry O’Neal of Opelika, AL; four loving sisters, Urica Summers, Phyllis Summers, Tianna Summers all of Opelika, AL and Alexis Frazier of Nashville, TN; one brother, Grayling Thomas of Atlanta, GA; four uncles, Danny (Angela) O’Neal, Charles (Betty) Summers, Willie Summers all of Opelika, AL and Randy Edwards of Auburn, AL; four aunts, Vernita Lockhart, Arnita Crawford, Geraldine (Rogers) Clayborn all of Opelika, AL and LaRacheal (Roosevelt) Williams of Lanett, AL; two great aunts, Sarah Charles Edwards and Mary Jimmy Carr both of Opelika, AL; one great uncle, Billy Edwards of Opelika, AL; a special cousin, Decarlos Thornton; a special friend, Cordera Jointer; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
