Clennis Griffin Flowers was born to proud parents of the late Walter Griffin and Maggie Ware in Carthage Ms. Her immediate family consisted of 9 siblings where she was the third oldest. She was baptized at an early age as Catholic at St. Joachim Church. Later as an adult, she made St. Anne her church home where she was dedicated member throughout her life.
Clennis was united in marriage to the late Kermit Flowers, Sr. that union five children were born, her two sons Jerome Flowers and Kermit Flowers Jr. preceded her in death.
Clennis is survived by three daughters Dorothy Flowers, Carolyn Douglas (Roy), Debra Simmons (Phil) a daughter in law, Angelia Flowers, three siblings-Beatrice Pierson, Dorothy Griffin, and Willie Griffin and two sisters in law Lorene Flowers and Vera Edwards. She also leaves behind nine (9) grandchildren Desmond (Kanisha), Brandon (Iesha), Rebbie (Irvin), Roy, Demetrius, Candice, Phil Jr, Whitney, and Jasmine and 6 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephew and cousins who loved her dearly.
