Mrs. Frances Freeman Cohen, age 64, of Hampton, South Carolina departed this life on Wednesday, December 20,2023 at Hampton General Hospital in Hampton, South Carolina.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Frances Freeman Cohen will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Boyd & Royter Funeral Service 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton, North Carolina. Minister Calvin Alston will deliver the eulogy and interment will follow at New Grove Baptist Church cemetery, 32 New Grove Rd. Kenbridge, Virginia.

Her memories will be forever cherished by her loving husband of 23 years, Donald Cohen, daughter, Denise Freeman Tubbs (Byron) of Newark, NJ, sons Louis Freeman (Datoya) of Newark, NJ., Desmond Freeman of the home. Eight grandchildren, Zyion, Zyionna, Maymouna, Eesa, Asha, Micah, I-Deja and La-Deja. Two sisters, Elsie Kearney, and Vanessa Freeman (Ervin) of Warrenton. One Sister-in-law, Magdeline Riley, three brothers in law, Samuel Hendricks, Jeff Cohen and Eric Cohen, two uncles,

John Richard King and Thomas King. Three aunts, Rosa Beard, Virginia Kersey, and Louise Kersey. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Cohen may be viewed on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service.
