Kirk John William Bratcher-El, was born on April 28, 1958, to the late John William Bratcher and Louise Stephanie Bratcher in Manhattan, New York. He was the eldest son of five siblings. Kirk attended Samuel Gompers High School for 3 years (he graduated early) and then signed up for the US Navy. In 1978, Kirk was shipped across the seas to serve our country. He loved to talk about his travels to Thailand, Guam, the Philippines, Japan, Hawaii, Pearl Harbor, Hong Kong, Korea, and San Diego. During his time on earth, he wore many hats. He was a Navy vet, a construction worker, and an entrepreneur.
