Deacon Bryan Keith Faulk

Passed 12/26/2023

Deacon Bryan Keith Faulk was born on April 24, 1966 to Velma Finnick Faulk and the late George Faulk. He was raised in a loving Christian home, where the true values of life were taught. God called home his servant unexpectedly on December 26, 2023 at High Point Medical Center.

Bryan at an early age, loved God and loved attending Sunday school, church services and youth activities at St. Luke United Holy Church in Rose Hill, NC. As a child, Bryan taught himself to play the piano and saxophone and found his passion for music and singing.

Bryan graduated from Wallace Rose Hill High School in Teachey, NC in 1984. After high school, he continued his education at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (Aggie Pride). Bryan followed his call to serve others and enlisted into the United States Marines and was honorably discharged in the late 1980s. Bryan met the love of his life, Aquinetta Brown, on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University in 1988. They were united in holy matrimony on March 10,1994 and from this union, one child was born.

Bryan continued to serve others as he worked for the United States Postal Service as a supervisor for 29 years. Bryan retired from the United States Postal Service in June 2023. He did not plan to stop working when he retired. His new excitement to serve others came in the vision to become an entrepreneur. The Peach Cobbler Factory journey began and was birthed in November of 2023, with the grand opening on December 2nd.

Bryan was devoted to his faith and was a steadfast member of Clifton Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and the Minister of Music. He took great joy in leading his church family in song and worship.

In his leisure time, Bryan loved traveling with his wife, Aquinetta. The proudest moment came when he became a grandfather. As Pop Pop, Bryan shined with the joy of a child whenever he played with Ariyah.

Although there is overwhelming sadness, we are comforted by the happy moments and love we hold dear in our hearts. Bryan was a loving husband, father, Pop Pop, brother and son. Bryan was preceded in death by his father George Faulk, brother Michael R. Faulk and sister Gladys S. Robbins.

Bryan leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Aquinetta of High Point, NC and son, Kendall (Briana) of Colonial Heights, VA and his only granddaughter, Ariyah; his mother Velma Faulk of Rose Hill, NC; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Carolyn Brown of Columbia, SC; sisters: Cynthia Faulk Kirkman (Allen) of Colorado; Helen Faulk of Rose Hill, NC; brothers: George David Faulk Jr (Veronica) of Wilmington; George Anthony Faulk of Virginia; Lawrence Murphy (Thea) of Maryland; George Goodman (Anne) of Ohio; sister-in-law Monica Caldwell (Dexter) of Greenville SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
