Mother Malinda Beatrice Alexander passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 31, 2023 at Piedmont Hospital in Athens, Georgia.

Bea as she was so lovingly known was born in Philomath, Georgia on February 12, 1947. She was pre-deceased by her parents, John E. Hall and Mattie Pearl Jackson Hall; two siblings, John D. Hall and May Ellen Mays.

Bea joined Springhil1Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Solomon. She served faithfully on the Usher Board, Mother Board and as a Deaconess.

Bea was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a strong faith and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew her. Her heart of gold reached out to all who came in contact with her.

Bea and Edgar shared 54 beautiful years together. Bea looked forward to their annual trip to the beach. During her leisure, Bea enjoyed reading and working cross words puzzles. Bea adored her dog, Poncho and she loved Popeye’s Chicken.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Deacon Edgar Alexander, children Anthony Alexander (Deloris) and Kimberly Fuller (Albert); grandchildren, Arrionna A. Fuller, Amarion Alexander, Danyelle Hurley, Anthony Alexander, & Ahriel Alexander, great-grandchild: Adorra Alexander; sisters: Carrie Meadows, Brenda Lester (David); step-brother: Randolph Hull (Leila). sisters-in-law, Betty Turner, Carolyn Watts, Lillian Perry, Pamela Wilson (Ken), Dorothy Ouisley; brothers-in-law: Tommy Watts (Janie), David Lester, Earl Hill and Ken Wilson; she also leaves many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
