Pitts, Mr. David, a resident of Lapine, AL, departed this life on Friday, December 29, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00AM from Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Davenport, AL, Pastor Marcus Jones, officiating with a burial following in churchyard cemetery.

Mr. Pitts will lie in state on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home from 12-6PM, and at the church one hour prior to services.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.
