Mary H. Taylor, 80, of Columbus, GA passed Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service to held at 2:00 p.m. EST Monday, January 8, 2024 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Jones, officiating. Burial will be in West End Cemetery. Public viewing will be on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1-5 p.m. EST.

Mrs. Mary Helen Bellamy-Taylor was born November 4, 1943 to the late Sam Bellamy and the late Mary Bellamy. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

Mary accepted Christ at an early age. She was employed at Top Hat Chicken and Cobb Memorial Hospital. She attended South Girard High School.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Rev. Timothy Taylor, Sr.; five brothers, Albert, Sam, Frank, George, and Roosevelt; one loving sister, Betty Jean Warren.

Mary had a passionate love for her children and their children. Her hobbies included dancing, listnening to Johnny Taylor, B. B. King and taking care of her family.

Mary Helen leaves to cherish her memories five children; Darron (Sherry) Bellamy, Veronica Bellamy, Daphne Taylor, Tamika Taylor and Timothy Taylor, Jr.; 20 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Lee Bellamy and David Lee Bellamy; two sisters-in-law, Anne (James) Phillips and Catherine (Frank) Bellamy; two best friends, Joyce Lockett and Sonny Hicks and a host of other family members and friends.
