May Maddox Faust

May Mattox Faust was born on July 20, 1951 to Rodney Mattox and Hattie Lois Powers in Lexington, Georgia. She departed this life on January 3, 2024.

She was preceded in her death by both her parents, her brothers: Karl “KC” Mattox, Rodney “Uncle Boy” Mattox and two sons: Tito Adkins and Nicholas Maddox.

She attended school in Springfield, Mass., (where she always remembered the snow), and in Oglethorpe County. She held several jobs throughout her life, which included Georgia Option as a caregiver and Zoom Bait. However, her most important job was being a mother to nine children which included three sets of twins.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her husband, James Faust; her children: Toni Adkins, Roy Adkins, Tobin Adkins, Shannon (Reginald) Hill, Sherry Maddox, Keith Maddox, Michael (Jacqueline) Maddox and Hattie Maddox; four step-children: Robert Maddox, Charles (Lottie) Maddox, David Maddox and Lisa Maddox; grandchildren: Sean and Tyler Adkins, Roy Adkins, III, Takwan Johnson, Delia and Jada Johnson, Reginald Hill, Jr., Kristopher Jenkins, Nicholas Maddox, Keith Maddox, Jr., Mykeisha Maddox, Zy Maddox, Aniyah, Angel, Isiah and Symorah Maddox; great-grandchildren: Jacody, Jacayden, Marlie, Kacey, Khaza Johnson and Khazier Alford. She also leaves nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
