Lawrence Almer “Larry” Lucas, III was born on October 23, 1986 in Seattle, WA to the late Lawrence A. Lucas, Sr. and the late Rudene Royal Risby.

Lawrence spent years working in Sales and Marketing at AT&T and Xfinity. Larry enjoyed spending time with his late father, Lawrence A. Lucas, Sr., who he spent most of his life with. Larry would give anyone who was struggling or in need his last.

He was a master of the video games, Madden, Fight Night and others. Lawrence enjoyed traveling, cool cars, nice sneakers and people. Family and friends enjoyed going anywhere with Lawrence because of the unwavering love he had. Larry had a real great sense of humor about him. He will truly be missed by everyone. Heaven has gained an angel.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence A. Lucas, Sr. and Rudene Royal Risby.

On Friday, January, 5, 2024 at South Georgia Medical Center, Lawrence was called to rest.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memories to his stepmother, Latonya Lucas; siblings, Andrea Lucas, Lawrence Lucas, Jr., Leslie Lucas, Marilyn Lucas, Rega Reid, Raquel Wolfork, Yoshaca Brown, J.R. Wolfork, Thadies Henderson, Leonard Wolfork, Brittany Risby and Nicole Risby; best friends, Tim & Reema Mauesby; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The celebration of life service will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Lucas Brothers Memorial Gardens, 3827 Lucas Richardson Road, Hahira, GA 31632.
