Jo Ann Williams Taylor known affectionately as “Sister” by many earned her wings and took flight to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, December 31, 2023, from her residence. She received a first-class ticket; and a band of angels escorted her home.

Jo Ann was born into the union of the late Mary Elizabeth Callaway Williams and Wren Williams, Sr. on April7, 1927 in Miller County, Colquitt, GA. Jo Ann (Sister) relocated to Tallahassee with her family at an early age. She was married to Frank Taylor who preceded her in death.

She became a beautician’s beautician. She thoroughly embraced the art and creative scope of cosmetology. She enjoyed helping others to look their best.

Her hobbies included residing, word puzzles, bingo and shopping! She was an authentic Fashionista! She loved the sports of baseball and football. She was a die-hard rattler football fan.

Jo Ann was the oldest member both in age and membership at her church, Jacob Chapel Baptist Church. She served faithfully until her health impacted her health.
