On Sunday, December 31, 2023, K'Ron Eliah Fox gained his wings tragically passing away in Little River, SC. The most loving son born to Kalezza “Kay” and Cornelius “Neddy” Baker was born on March 8, 2004, in Cary, NC. In the 19 years that K' Ron lived he was so many things to so many people. He was an intuitive caring and compassionate son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandchild, and a true friend.
K'Ron was an introvert but extroverted among those who brought him peace. He truly had a heart of genuine gold, always looking out for others and often putting others needs before his very own. Rather it be lending a listening ear or his arms for a hug. K'Ron didn't just live for his own happiness but for the happiness of others. Love was truly in his veins. To know him was to love him. He devoted much of his time into music and rapping which was his therapy and escape from reality. K'Ron cherished and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in NC and SC. K'Ron was a true protector and helper. Every morning he was his baby sister “KK” alarm clock and would wake her up and prepare for school each day. He sincerely loved being the cool big brother waiting in the carpool line at the end of the school day.
The ocean will forever come to mind for both hold many similarities to deep, powerful forces of nature. So, what did K'Ron teach us? That his life was brief but beautiful. His actions spoke louder than words. Be kind to ourselves and to others; Be generous. Cultivate gratitude; know that we are all doing the best we can. Know that death is real and comes at a blinding speed, so try to escape the prison of self. Life is the longest thing that we will ever do but the shortest we will ever live. Above all things like him Richly in spirit. #FOREVER19.
K'Ron is survived by his mother Kalezza “ Kay” Fox, father Cornelius “ Neddy” Baker, Special father figure, Leroy Thompson, Sisters; Seonna Fox, Jaylin Snellings, Timiya Thompson, Kaylee Thompson, Taryn Baker, and Destanee Headen. A very special cousin Trenessa Baker"Mother of Love" and a friend to the end Damion Lucas, Adrian, and Justin.
It's hard to say goodbye to someone who had a big impact on our lives. It's always even harder to let them go and move on, but if we keep those good memories in our hearts and minds, we can find comfort, and K'Ron will always be with us. It's never an official goodbye, but until we meet again. This is where the celebration of life begins. As K'Ron would say…. "C'mon Now!"
