Celebration of Love Services for Mrs. Delphine Peeples Sharpe, of Lithonia, will be held Friday, January 12, 2024; 10:00 A.M. at Fairfield Baptist Church, 6133 Redan Road Lithonia, Georgia 30058. Reverend Eric George Vickers, Sr., Pastor / Officiant and Reverend Reginald Wayne Sharpe, Jr., Senior Pastor of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, Chicago, Illinois, Eulogist. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 11, 2024; 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary.

On Sunday, December 31, 2023, Delphine Peeples Sharpe peacefully stepped beyond time into eternity. Her parents, Alton T. Jett and Lucille Peeples Atkinson preceded her in death.

Delphine leaves countless and precious memories to be cherished by her daughter, Michele Ashley (Stephen) Holmes; son, Benjamin Aaron Titus George; sisters, Angela Peeples, Arleen Peeples, and Halynn (Isaac) Brown; brothers, Jerome Atkinson, Cornelius Atkinson, Bryan (Andrea) Jett, Derrik Jett, Alon (Lisa) Jett, Gary Summerour, and Raymond Murphy, and an aunt and uncle; Eunice (Bill) Jett Rogers, and Thomas (Dorothy) Jett. Her granddaughters, Madison Skye Holmes and Savannah Michael Holmes, were undeniably the apples of their “Grandma Diva’s” eye. They were indeed her pride and joy. Moreover, innumerable nieces, nephews, extended family, co-workers, and friends continue to embrace fond memories of Delphine. Her unforgettable smile and extraordinary spirit will live on forever.
