We ask that you please keep this family in your hearts and prayers during their time of bereavement.
Today we celebrate the homegoing for one of the most precious and unique creations, Wynetta L. McCraney.
Miss Wynetta Lynn (Lou Lou) McCraney was born to the late Evelyn Ann Ragland Hamilton and Albert Scott Ricks on November 27, 1967.
She departed her earthly life on January 9, 2024 peacefully in her home where she entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior.
She accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Calavary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend W.H. Granger. She later united with Kingdom Connection Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Dexter Elston.
Wynetta attended and graduated Emma Sansom High School in 1986. She went on and graduated from Gadsden Community College where she obtained her nursing degree and went on to pursue her passion for 36 years.
Those who knew and loved her would say that she was loving, caring, compassionate, supportive and very giving. Wynetta loved her family and always put the family first. And she expressed that by her cooking; she would feed a stranger.
Wynetta and Dominque's bond was unbreakable, much like the iconic duo Thelma and Louise. They were inseparable, and their presence was enough to light up any room. From concerts to comedy shows, road trips to church, they shared countless memories together. They laughed, cried, and partied together, always supporting one another. Their love knew no bounds.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
