Dr. Dorothy Smith-Bouie

Answering God call home, Dr. Dorothy Smith Bouie passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2024, leaving a legacy of love, service, and uttermost humanitarian.Dorothy has spent the major portion of her adult and professional life providing leadership and education on the national, state, and local levels. Locally she was also recognized and respected for her outstanding community service. Known as The First Lady of Frenchtown. Her civic and community involvement enabled her to make real-world connections with anyone she came in contact with.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00 am at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church - 224 North Martin Luther King, Jr Blvd. Tallahassee, FL 32301.Burial will be held directly after service on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Oakland Cemetery 838 N Bronough St. Tallahassee, FL 32303.
