Dea. Levi Frazier, Jr.

Deacon Levi Frazier, Jr. was born on December 26, 1938 in Valdosta, GA to the late Mr. Levi Frazier, Sr. and Mrs. Frances Clark Frazier.

Levi attended the Valdosta City Schools System. At an early age, Levi accepted Christ at an early age. He joined Day Spring Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a Deacon until his passing. Levi was married to Lillie Seay Frazier.

Levi worked at Langdale Forest Products Company. He later worked for Scott and Roberts Funeral Home and then worked for Stevens Funeral Home as an assistant to the funeral director where he served families for over thirty years.

Levi was a loving and supportive deacon, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who was dedicated to his family and church family. Levi was a kind man with a great sense of humor. He was a very hard worker that will be truly missed by his family.

On Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at South Georgia Medical Center Emergency Room, Levi was called from his earthly labor to rest.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his four children, Gary Frazier, Mary Frazier, Wayne Battle and Major Battle; four sisters; two brothers.

Levi leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his life to his loving and devoted wife, Lillie Frazier of Valdosta, GA; nine children, Jerry Lee Frazier, Olivia Gardner, Willie Gardner (Maria), Belinda Hardy (Walter), Dale Fleming (Devan), Gale Williams, James Battle (Areatha) and Caesar Battle all of Valdosta, GA and Gloria Battle of Hollywood, FL; three special grandchildren, Terri Fleming, Kelsi Williams and Jacquetta Battle; fifty grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, Day Spring Baptist Church Family and the Stevens Funeral Home Staff.

The celebration of life service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Day Spring Baptist Church, 615 Dasher Lane, Valdosta, GA 31601. Rev. Phillip Corker, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be live streamed on the funeral home Facebook and YouTube Page - Stevens Funeral Home (Valdosta, GA).
