Mr. Robinson of Lakeland transitioned Thursday, January 18, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 - 2:30 p.m. at Coney MLK Chapel - 1404 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33805.

Sammy Lee Robinson was born December 17, 1959 in Lakeland, Florida and transitioned from his earthly home on Friday, January 18, 2024 in Lakeland, Florida.

As a child he liked art, drawing, super hero comic books, football, swimming and most of all fishing. An interest he shared with his mom. He enjoyed cooking and having a good time. He always wanted to own a food truck. He had a full hearty laugh that made others laugh. He loved the Lord and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents: and siblings: James Robinson and Idella Thomas. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Melba Yolanda Robinson; Sons - Zavien Clayton (Lil Sammy), Tamarian Augustin, Keiron Augustin and Nicholas Davis. Daughter - Tashara Augustin; siblings: Dorothy Robinson Windham and Angeline Robinson Lisbon Children: Granddaughter - Layla Leavy, and a host of doting granddaughters and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
