CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at First Church of God In Christ in Crowley, LA for Mrs. Ruby Prudhomme Anderson, 91, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.

Bishop Alton Gatlin, Pastor of First Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mrs. Anderson’s memories are being cherished by: her three children, Stevie (Karen) Woolridge of Covington, LA, Troy R. (Joan) Woolridge of Savannah, GA and Osmond Woolridge of Crowley, LA; one daughter, Osbie C. Woolridge of Crowley, LA; one sister, Mildred Deville Byers of Crowley, LA; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; longtime friend, Elmo Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by: her husband, Alfred Anderson; parents, Bennie and Cora Prudhomme; one son, Barry Q. Woolridge; and one daughter, Thurner L. Woolridge.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at First Church of God In Christ. Visitation will resume on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 1:00 p.m.. to 1:45 p.m. at First Church of God In Christ.
