Funeral service for Eddie Thomas, 69, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL 36865, Bishop Kenneth Carter will officiate.

Mr. Thomas, who passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Magnolia Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tuskegee, Alabama, was born January 12, 1955, in Lee County. Alabama.

Public viewing will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: one son, Eddie James (Pamela) Thomas, Jr. of Opelika, AL; one grandson, Isaiah James Thomas of Opelika, AL; three sisters, Mary Holland of Cleveland, OH, Annie (Pastor Solomon) Pitts and Gwendolyn James both of Auburn, AL; three brothers, Joseph “Mose” (Sonjia) Thomas, Silas Thomas both of Auburn, AL and Joe Henry (Carolyn) Thomas of Atlanta, GA; devoted friend, Tommy Lee Paradise of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
