Obituary For Mrs. Juanita Miller

Juanita Miller was born on January 3, 1934 to Marshall and Veda Carpenter. She was a very generous woman who had an impact on everyone who met her. She was educated in the Anson County school system. She loved her family and practically adopted many of her neighbors. Except for a brief stint of employment outside of the home, Juanita made rearing her children her life's work.

After accepting Christ as her Savior, she joined First Baptist Church ofNorwood and served many years as the President of the Pastor's Aide andworked alongside her husband as a faithful Deaconess. She loved to cook, work in her garden and go fishing.

Juanita was blessed with a keen sense of humor and was always ready to share with others words of encouragement.

She is preceded in death by her siblings: brother DeWitt Carpenter andsisters Louise Anderson and Pauline Wall; children: MacErnest Clark, Janie Miller Davis, Kenneth Akers, Jack Akers, Jr. and Gwendolyn Akers; her loving husband, Auguster Miller.

Left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy are her children: Roger Clark (Richmond, VA); Dr. H.C. Miller (Margaret), Raleigh, NC; Eddie Vincent Miller (Katrina), New London, NC; Angela Johnson (Reginald), Albemarle, NC; and a very dear adopted daughter, Linda Harris, Norwood, NC; a large number of nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
