Mrs. Annie ‘Ann” Ingram was born April 11, 1950 in Morven, NC, the daughter of the late Clayton and Ida Frances Moore. She quietly departed this life Tuesday, January 23, 2024. In addition to her parents Ann was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Ingram and Jean Tillman: two brothers, Isaac Moore and Rufus Wall.
Ann was educated in the Anson County Schools and graduated from Bowman High School in Wadesboro, NC. She previously attended Solid Rock Baptist Church in High Point, NC, where she served as a member of the choir, usher board, kitchen committee and emceed many programs.
For many years, she worked as a unit secretary at Westchester Manor and Evergreens Nursing Homes in High Point, NC. Ann was a beautiful, giving and fun-loving person with a generous kind spirit, infectious heart and was loved by family and friends.
Her passions were listening to music, dancing, cooking and spending quality time with her loved ones. She will always be remembered as a fashionable woman who enjoyed life to the fullest.
Ann’s legacy will live on through her beloved daughters, Dionne and Tonya Parson; one sister, Dorothy Bailey of High Point, NC; one brother, Clinton (Vickie) Moore of Rockingham, NC; three grandchildren, Chasity Parson, Colin David and Cassidy Lampkin; seven great grandchildren, Tru, Trinity, Tao, Tiannah, Tori, Aiden, Lil Chasity and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
