A funeral service will be held at New Zion Baptist Church, 251 Nimitz St., Eunice, LA 70535 at 6:00 PM for Mercedes Richard Frank Guillory on Sunday, February 4, 2024. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, also at New Zion Baptist Church, where she was a very faithful and devoted member. Interment will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1400 E. Laurel Ave., Eunice, LA on Monday 9:00 AM, February 5, 2024, with Pastor Reverend Allen Ben officiating.

Mercedes Guillory passed away on January 25, 2024 at 9:01 AM in her Sweetridge Apartment #31, Eunice, LA. in the loving care of her two daughters. She is well remembered for her attractive style of dress and her work as a sales clerk in several clothing stores in Eunice (Ardoin’s, O’Days Young World, Ora’s Fabric Shop, Fashion House, The Man Shop, Weill’s Department Store, Eunice Tots and Teens and La Vogue).
