SPARTANBURG, SC-- Martha Nell Prater Benson, of 765 John B. White Blvd., entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 3, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Calvin Prater and Mrs. Allise Norton Prater. She was a native of Spartanburg County.Survivors include four sons, Adolphus, Howard, Marshall and Stanley Benson, all of Spartanburg, SC; four sisters, Hattie Dawkins, Betty Brown, Jannie Linder and Mary Allen, all of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Mr. Marshall Beason, at 101 Marion Ave., Apt. 209.J.W.
