Transitioned on Saturday, December 2, 2023, devoted father of Chiquita G. (Clarence) Young, Bonita J. (Roland) Smith, and Vanetta T. Smoot. Also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. On Wednesday, December 20, 2023 friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until time of service, 10 a.m. at Canaan Baptist Church, 16th & Newton Street, NW. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
