MARK JOSEPH PLEASANTS

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mark Joseph Pleasants. Born August 3, 1949 in Washington, DC as a fraternal twin of Clarke. Born to Lucille and the late Joseph Pleasants. He passed away on January 17, 2023 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. By his side was his wife of 40 years, Deborah and children, Mark II, Farrah, Desmond, and Briana. They cared for and cherished him while he battled with small cell Prostrate Cancer for 21 Months. Homegoing Services will be held at Mount Horeb Baptist Church, 2914 Bladensburg Rd., NE Washington, DC, 20018 on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Viewing at 10 a.m., Service 11 a.m Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD, 20722 at the Community Mausoleum, followed by a repast for family and friends at Mount Horeb Baptist Church. Services entrusted to R.N. Horton Co. Morticians, Inc., 600 Kennedy St., Washington, DC., 20011.
