Today, we celebrate the life of Ceylon Frazier Crawford. He was born to the late Bennie and Selena Crawford on May 5, 1955.

Ceylon gave his life to Christ at an early age, was baptized and became a member of Springdale Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor W.T. Grafton.

He attended Hyde Park Elementary and Douglass High School. Following high school, Ceylon enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

Ceylon later became employed for the U.S. Postal Service, City of Memphis Recreation Department and Discount Builders and Supply Company.

Ceylon leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters, Delores, Marva (Frazier), and Alma; one brother, Danny Crawford; his uncle, Herman Crawford of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Ceylon was preceded in death by three siblings, Bennie Crawford Jr., James Crawford and Shirley Crawford Brown.
