SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Dorothy Lee Crook Boyd, 78, of 117 La Salle Court, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Luther Crook, Sr. and Annie V. Crook. She was the wife of the late Thomas Boyd, Jr. and a member of Harrison Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Boyd leaves her memories to cherish with a loving daughter, Lisa Y. Boyd of the home; and a loving son-in-law, Ricky Savoy of Accokeed, MD. She also leaves three grandchildren, Cory W. Miller, reared in the home, Kesha Savoy, and Kristopher Savoy (Terrie Savoy) of Accokeek, MD; and one great-grandson, Day'Von Savoy. She is also survived by one sister, Georgianne Crook; one brother, Luther Crook, Jr.; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Joyce Crook Savoy; and a brother, Charles Crook.The family will receive friends at the home, 117 La Salle Court. The funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Friday, March 30, 2012 at Harrison Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Leon C.
