♥️Family i'm so sorry for your loss... Marilyn and her family grew up on Boyte street right down the street from my aunt Lucy. Marilyn would come to visit my aunt Lucy! They ordored one another! I was there on some of her visits. Marilyn was like a ray of sunshine, with her Beautiful smile. She loved to eat some of the goodies that my aunt prepared. Aunt Lucy was the best cook I know..I can remember to this day, how she would say miss Lucy...She was also my sister Ruth's classmate. May God Bless her soul. I know Marilyn you are at peace now!🙏🏽

Marilyn's family was like family to ours, we moved right around the corner from them in Newtown. She was always making us laugh and buying us snacks from the store. I shall never forget how sweet she was, and such a beautiful and loving woman. May God bless her family and friends, we love you all, Nikki Robinson Blakeney & Family❤️🙌🏾

Sincerest condolences to the family of my friend & classmate (Marilyn). I will miss communicating with her via mail and stopping by the nursing home when I journey to Monroe to visit my family. I am happy to say; I am left with many fond memories of our young days in and out of church & school, as well as the laughter & reflections we shared as we grew up in age. In Sympathy & Love, Elaine (Jordan) Funches
