Willie C. Giddens, III
Sunday, August 20, 1995 at 3:30 P.M., Willie Clair Giddens III entered this world! He was born in Thomasville, Georgia to Patricia Little and the late Willie Giddens, Jr. Since then, he has made a significant impression on the lives of many. From Georgia to Germany, Willie was the life of the party where ever he went! He brought joy and laughter for all who knew him. His loving and humorous character brought comfort and smiles to his family and friends. His presence was a gift, and his life was marked by kindness, compassion, and an irresistible sense of fun. His laughter was contagious, his smile unforgettable, and his nature was overall friendly and openhearted. He believed in living his life to the fullest, because he knew tomorrow isn't promised to anybody. If you met him then you know there was never a dull moment when he was around. He kept us rolling in laughter and would find a way to make even the simplest things in life funny. When he smiled, he showed every tooth in his head, and would brighten up even the darkest rooms.
Willie received his primary education in the Brooks County Schools and later traveled abroad with his sister where he attended Vilseck High School while living in Grafenwoehr, Germany. Willie was hardworking and dependable.
On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, our beloved Willie received his wings after just 28 years on Earth and Heaven gained an Angel! He is preceded in death by his father Willie Giddens Jr.; his grandparents- Willie Giddens Sr., Betty Giddens, John Little Jr., and Mildred Barkley-Little; his aunts Johnnie Holsendolph and Gloria Davis .
His memories will be cherished by his children KaMarion and Dream Giddens both of Valdosta, GA; his mother, Ms. Patricia Little of Quitman, GA; his siblings- Ebony Murphy (Michael) of Tacoma, WA, Dalvin Giddens , Jai’Quan Giddens, Tyra Giddens, and Josiah Giddens all of Quitman, GA; his nieces- Samiyah Murphy and Raelynn Giddens; his nephews- Michael Murphy III, Jordan Murphy, John Murphy, Jayden Murphy, and Jayceon Murphy; aunts and uncles- Nikita Peak (Adrian), Kenya “Ken” Giddens (Petrina), Sebastian Giddens (Lakeisha), Rickey Giddens (Lydia), Sonja Giddens, Sharon Giddens-Kensley, Mattie Hadley (John), Ruthie “Twiggy” Harrison, Charles Holsendolph, Sarah Boyd, Lizzie Little, Eddie Little (Jeannie), William Little, Blonde McCullen, Frank Barkley, Macon Barkley; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever hold Willie in their hearts. He will be remembered for his playful and friendly nature, and his fun-loving personality. There aren't enough words to describe how much Willie is loved and how much he will be missed. Funeral services were Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at the Shumate Church of Christ in Quitman with Minister Tony Herring, Sr. officiating. Burial followed at the North End Cemetery in Quitman.
