PACOLET, SC-- Sherry Jean Hardy, of 160 Hardy Street, Pacolet, SC, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 11, 2012. Sherry was born in Spartanburg County on March 30, 1965, to the late Barbara Hardy Gist. Sherry was a graduate of Broome High School class of 1983. She was a faithful member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and a former employee of Spartanburg County District Three Schools. She leaves to cherish fond memories: a daughter, Charde' L. Hardy; a son, Arius J. Hardy (AJ) both of the home; and a brother, Stevie (Wanda) Gist of Boiling Springs, SC. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 1:00 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Pacolet, SC. Pastor Charles Walker will officiate. Burial will be in the New Salem Zion Cemetery, Pacolet, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 at Gethsemane Baptist Church.
