Funeral service for Tyus Flakes, 26, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Auburn United Methodist Church, 137 South Gay Street, Auburn, AL 36830 with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL 36801, Bishop Kenneth Carter will officiate.

Mr. Flakes, who passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born June 12, 1997 in Lee County, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Willie Bell Flakes.

Public viewing will be Friday, February 16, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
