SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Willie Ree Atchison, formerly of Blackstock Rd., passed Wednesday evening at the McCall Hospice House, Simpsonville, SC. Mrs. Atchison was the widow of Mr. Warren Maloy Atchison. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Elijah Foster and Mrs. Lydia Foster.Mrs. Atchison was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Piedmont Congregation in Greenville, SC. Mrs. Atchison was the last survivor of her immediate family.Survivors include her daughter, Ms. Betty J. Atchison Ellis of Greenville, SC, and her five grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Brother Erick Haavie will give the eulogy. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens.The family is at the home of her granddaughter, Ms. Jacqueline Ellis, 519 Climbing Rose Court, Fountain Inn, SC.J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
