SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Jessie James Cunningham, 82, of 521 South Converse Street, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 2, 2012. He was the husband of Mrs. Doris Brown Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham was the son of the late Mr. John Cunningham and Mrs. Minnie Boyd Cunningham. He was a member of the New Faith Non Denominational Church. Survivors include four sons, Jessie J. Cunningham, Dwight Askew, Cullen Askew and Keith Askew; one daughter, Dawn Pettus; one sister, Janie B. Foster; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 12:00 noon at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Rev. Rosavelt Copeland will officiate. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends at the home.J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
