Mr. Joel Lawanna GaffneyCOWPENS, SC-- Mr. Joel Lawanna Gaffney of 112 Old Pacolet Road, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 5, 2012. He was the son of the late Mr. Roosavelt Gaffney, Sr. and Mrs. Edna Brown Gaffney. Mr. Gaffney was a native of Spartanburg County.Survivors include two sisters, Joyce Gaffney and Blondelle (Sol) Foster of Union, SC; two brothers, Larry (Caryn) Gaffney of St. Paul, MN and Scotty Gaffney of Atlanta, GA.Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, 2012, at 12:00 noon at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Rev. Tony Macomson will officiate.
