James Wesley Griffin, aged 91, of Milwaukee, WI, originally of Kosciusko, Mississippi passed away on February 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 14, 1932, in Mississippi. James was the firstborn son of what would be 10 children 5 boys and 5 girls born to the loving union of Rev. John Wesley Griffin and Mrs. Eunice E. Battle Griffin.
James Wesley Griffin, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, led a remarkable life. He dedicated many years of hard work to Pfister and Vogel Tannery, building and forging lasting friendships. His strong work ethic and commitment were evident throughout his career until his well-deserved retirement.
Family was at the core of Jame's life. He cherished his children and grandchildren, filling their lives with love, laughter, and wisdom. His supporting spirit and enduring presence created a home filled with warmth and support.
Beyond his professional and family life, James Wesley Griffin had a deep love for his roots in Mississippi. He carried the traditions and values of his upbringing with him, enriching the lives of those around him with the lessons he learned. His memories of his life in Mississippi were told many times and always with a loving fondness for events and people.
In his 91 years, James Wesley Griffin left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy will be remembered through the countless lives he touched, the memories he created and the love he shared.
James Griffin was preceded in death by his wife Audrey Griffin, parents, Rev. John Wesley Griffin, and Eunice Griffin; his brothers David Battle Griffin, Delmon Sarl T. Griffin, Bingham Griffin; and his sisters Wardean Griffin and Linda Griffin.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters: Helen Cross, Lillie Mae Griffin, and Carthenia Green (Frank); and his brother: Mervin J.L. Griffin. His two daughters, Karen Griffin and Wesla Griffin; his sons: David Griffin, Dion Griffin and James Wesley Griffin, Jr., his grandchildren Steven Griffin, John Grimm, Rick Wesley Loduha, Daniel Loduha, Noah Griffin, Wesley Griffin, Tamara Griffin, Jordan Griffin, Tyson Griffin, Jaylen Griffin, Avianna (Sweets) Griffin, Jameson (Bugg) Griffin, Deven White, Leticia Torres, Sergio Torres, Dondre Griffin, Monique Griffin, Vidalina Griffin, Deja Griffin, Danielle Griffin, Destiny Griffin, David Randolph Jr., Adam Quinonez 2nd, Brayden McCellan, Rosario Wilder, and 30 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends.
