Bishop Lewis BrannonSPARTANBURG, SC-- Bishop Lewis Brannon, 74, of 310 Willow Oak Dr., entered into eternal rest Monday, December 3, 2012. He was the widower of Mrs. Patricia Ann Harrison Brannon and the son of the late Mr. Erskine Caldwell and Mrs. Louise Brannon Simpson. He was a native of Spartanburg County. Bishop Brannon was the founder and pastor of Community Bible Believers Church.Survivors include his son, Pastor Terry (Lesha) Brannon of Boiling Springs, SC; four brother, Gene (Sallie) Bonds, John Simpson, Claude Simpson, and Reverend Frankie L. (Peggy) Ford; four sisters, Emma Shands, Elaine Rice, and Deloris Mitchell; two grandsons, Terrance Smith, Marcus Tate and Mary Williams.Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Cowpens, SC.
