Boyd Wilson Brown III, age 71 returned to the Lord's Kingdom on February 24th, 2024 at Brightmoor Hospice. He was born on October 5th,1952 in Frankfurt, Kentucky.
Boyd lived a good and long life. He had an astounding career in the United States Air force where he was stationed in Korea and met his beautiful wife Angie whom he later on married and was with for 52 memorable years. During his time in the Navy he was awarded with the Navy commendation medal, good conduct award, certificate of recognition for service during the cold war and the navy achievement medal. Also, during his career in the Air force he was awarded with the Air Force commendation medal. He retired as Chief Yeoman (surface warfare) Boyd Brown in 1995.
Boyd was known as a man of God who truly loved his community and family. He was a gentle soul that was proficient in music and played the alto saxophone, piano and guitar. He loved to read literature and music. He also enjoyed going out to dine with his family and watching dramas with his wife. He was a hardworking man, for 18 years he worked a second job as security to help his family. He was a deacon and helped the Korean community build churches. At one point the Lord called him to be a missionary in the Dominican Republic. He would donate to children's hospitals and help children with special needs or those who were orphaned. He was a devoted man to everyone. Anyone who knew Boyd knew he was intelligent, caring and protective.
He is survived by his wife Angie Brown, his children, Morina Hunter, Jonah Brown; sister Judy Bryant; grandchildren, Calla and Robert Hunter. A funeral service is scheduled for live streaming or in person at 12:00 pm on February 28th at the Nelson's Memorial Mortuary in Warner Robins, Georgia.
