BUFFALO, NY-- Sam Johnson, Jr. peacefully entered rest on Saturday, May 4, 2013.Sam was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church of Buffalo, NY. Mr. Johnson was a Navy and Marine veteran of the Vietnam Era.Sam is survived by his loving family: his devoted wife, Mrs. Barbara J. Livingston Johnson; his children, Bobette Harrington and Rodney Harrington; his siblings, Annie Mildred Long and Greta Long both of Boston, MA, Grace Sibert and Kay (Jack) Brannon both of Spartanburg, SC, Patsy Long of Columbia, SC, Wright (Gwen) Long, III of Ninety-Six, SC, Joseph (Ellen) Long and Julius (Joyce) Long both of Spartanburg, SC; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Mr. Johnson was predeceased by: his parents, Katie Tucker and Samuel Johnson, Sr.; daughter, Charlene Harrington; and siblings, Amanda Warner, Beatrice Long and James Long.A Graveside Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. in Lincoln Memorial Gardens.
