Funeral service for Annie Burt, 85, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cobb-Shiloh Cemetery, Auburn, AL 36083 (Brownville Community), Reverend Daniel Wilborn, III will officiate.

Mrs. Burt, who passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Lake Martin Community Hospital in Dadeville, Alabama, was born November 1, 1938, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, March 2, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her memory: five children, Mary Harris, Charlotte (Robert) Springer both of Opelika, AL, Jimmy (Cassandra) Burt of Charlotte, NC, John (Linda) Burt of Dallas, TX and Rolanda (Traci) Wayne of San Antonio, TX; twenty-one grandchildren; six step-children, Brenda Barnes, Raymond (Daisy) Burt both of Elgin, IL, Milton (Willard) Burt of Rockford, IL, Earl (Gayle) Burt, James (Janet) Burt both of Atlanta, GA and Carol Spates of Charlotte, NC; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
