Justin Lee Cofield, son of Donald L. Cofield, Jr. and Nicole L. Banks, was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
“G Check” as he was affectionately known by family and friends graduated from Harrisburg High School with the class of 2009. During his working career, he was self-employed and co-owner of Purposeful Cleaning LLC.
Justin became a father to his first child, Jasere Lee Cofield, on June 9, 2010. Jasere was followed by his only daughter, Jaylece and sons, Julius and Nahji. His children meant everything to him and they were his world. He would spend every moment that he could with his kids.
His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys (boooo from his mother who is an Eagles fan hooooo, which was one of their favorite sayings). He loved being outside, especially on warm days, he also enjoyed traveling, laughing and making others laugh, he was a true comedian. The one thing he loved to do more than anything was hanging/chillin with his kids and with his father and mother whom he loved dearly.
At the age of 33 Justin L. Cofield transitioned into eternal life on Friday, February 23, 2024 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
He leaves to cherish memories of him, his children, Jasere and Jaylece Cofield (mother Eboni Lewis), Julius Cofield (mother Patrice R) and Nahji Cofield (mother, Nikeisha Morell); his mother, Nicole Banks; his father Donald L. Cofield, Jr. and his wife Alana; his significant other, Patrice Randolph; his maternal grandparents, Louise Banks, Ronnie Banks and Linda Banks; his paternal grandparents, Sharon and Donald Cofield, Sr.; his siblings, Tahvia, Brendon, Brandon, Jaliyah, Nia, Darrian and Derrick; nephews, Ja’Lil Banks-Moore, Brandon, Jr. and Braydon Harris and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, homies and friends.
Justin’s life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Word of Grace Ministries, 3814 Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with viewing and visitation from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
