Mrs. Ruthalia D. Riley , 81, of Augusta, GA, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on March 3, 2024 . She was born on February 10, 1943, in Augusta, GA, to the late Ernest Marion Dixon and Fannie Ruth Dixon.

Mrs. Riley graduated from Lucy C. Laney High School and Paine College with a degree in Early Education. She was a dedicated educator for 31 years, retiring from T. Harry Garrett Elementary.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Wilford (Alex) Riley; daughter, Danielle Riley and granddaughter, Alexis Brown of Atlanta, GA; sister, Ernestine Williams; nephew, Sean Williams; niece, Genai Lane; great-nephew, Rufus Jones IV; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 11, 2024 at 12:00 noon from Williams Memorial CME Church, 1630 Fifteenth Street. Interment will be in Southview Cemetery, 1102 Nellieville Road, Augusta, GA.
