James Elbert Bell

Memorial service for James Elbert Bell 68, will be Saturday, March 2, at 1 pm at the Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church. Mr. Bell passed away on February 20, 2024 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bell graduated in 1973 from Cobb Avenue High School. He retired from US Army as a Sergeant after 20 years of service. He was a drummer for several years for the Southern Travels.

Survivors include his wife: Malinda Bell: sons: James A. Bell (Temaka), Joshua (Anaja) Bell, Frederick Bell; daughters: Dorothy (Brendan) Freeman, Latoya Bell, Amanda Bell; siblings: John Bell, Willie (Belinda) Bell, Francinia Frazier, Linda (Billy) Brown, Loreather Garrett; sister in-laws: Alesia Cypress, Lenora Beasley, Vernessa (Charles) Patterson, Evelyn (Paul) Lewis; brother in-laws: Lewis (Joanna) Sturkie, Edward (Vikki) Sturkie, Dennis (Carla) Sturkie; grandchildren: Isiah, Roman and King, nieces, nephews, loving friend: Ms. Miriam Boazman. other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Bell Jr,,his mother, Sue Ellen Bell, stepmother, Annie Ruth Bell.
