Underwood, Angela, A resident of Montgomery, AL, transitioned to be with the Lord on Friday, March 8, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin McTier, Ph.D officiating. Ms. Underwood will lie in state on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home and on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 10:00am. Angela was a loving sister, aunt, cousin, and a friend to many, many, many people. She showed love and generosity to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her father James Hopson, her mother Clara Hopson, and grandfather, Mose Stevenson. She leaves to cherish many, many, many memories. Sisters: Clarissa H. Great Nephews and Nieces: Antonio McBride, Morgan Gilchrist, Ameria Powell, JaMiya Broughton, JaCoby Broughton, Jeterrius Broughton, Jaliyah Hawthorne, Emarie Gilchrist, Jayden Brougthton, Xiya Broughton, and JaBari Broughton.
