DAVID CHARLES BROWN, SR. son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elise Brown, was born in Boston, Massachusetts.

He was a member of the LifePoint Church of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where he served in the ministry as an usher and greeter. David received his formal education in Boston, Massachusetts and worked as a master control engineer for the ABC 27 news for over 35 years. David enjoyed football, spending time with his wife and family, serving his community and doing whatever the Lord had for him to do.

David Charles Brown at the age of 74 years, completed his earthly journey on Monday, March 4, 2024 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Courts Brown; his son, David Brown, Jr.; his stepson, Gary Courts; his stepdaughters, Teresa Bass, Monica Courts and Andrea Courts Buide; his grandchildren, Tara Courts, Santwanne Buide, Andre' Buide, Leroy Bass, Leanna Bass, Dezmon Early, Zion White, Deiontey McHayle and Treyvyon Courts and a host of other relatives and friends.

David is now absent from the body and present with the Lord. He will be deeply missed by all.

His life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in the Sanctuary of his church, LifePoint Church, 7733 Hillcrest Avenue, Harrisburg with viewing and visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
