Ella L. Chigano

Ella L. Chigano 76, affectionately known as Potsie transitioned to her Heavenly Home peacefully on March 9, 2024. Ella was born to the parents of Robert and Gloria Woodley who precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother Gerald Woodley and sisters Edna Jack and Harriet Johnson.

Ella was a faithful member of St. Paul Baptist Church, where she served as a faithful member on the Usher Board and the Pastoral Aide Committee.

Left to cherish her memory is son Reginald McCollum, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, granddaughter Sahara McCollum, great granddaughter Arianna McCollum, brother John (Helen) Woodley, Clarksville, Tennessee; sister Joann (Larry) Woodley-Carr, Diane Woodley, and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives, her devoted friend Tabitha Brown. The family will be at the home of Joann Woodley Carr, 5246 Blue Star Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee 37914.

The Celebration of Life will be on March 23, 2024, at noon St. Paul Baptist Church, located at 2342 Louise Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee 37915 where Senior Pastor Dexter Mims will be officiating.
